Tips & Tricks
1. Protect your projector: Projector Ceiling mount
Out of sight, out of mind. Ceiling mounting a projector is one of the most professional-looking ways to mount a projector. Plus, it makes it difficult to get to, and difficult to steal.
There are also projector ceiling mounts that are available that feature an alarm built into them for added security. If you do have a ceiling mounted projector, you must make sure that you do not forget to clean the filter each month.
Contact one of our qualified sales persons to recommend a projector ceiling mount.

2. Protect your projector: Projector Kensington lock
Most every digital projector has a slot for a Kensington lock. These slots are designed to connect a thin, sturdy cable, called a Kensington lock. This works similarly to a bike lock in that you must wrap the lock around a fixed object or heavy object that won't be easily stolen. Kensington locks are difficult to cut through as well. Just the fact that you have this lock on the digital projector will deter most thieves.
Contact one of our qualified sales persons to recommend a digital projector that has a Kensington lock slot.

3. Protect your projector: Mark it
There are several ways to mark your LCD projector. You can put a serial number tag on it, engrave it with your company information or simply write on the back or bottom of it with a Sharpie pen. This won't protect the LCD projector from being stolen, but will make it difficult to sell to a pawnshop and make it easier to trace.

4. Protect your projector: Projector ATA Case
The only advised way to ship a data projector is in an ATA case. A projector ATA case is designated safe for air travel and shipping. The outside of the case is typically hard metal and the data projector is protected on the inside with dense foam and straps.
